Finance ministry announces five credit rating enterprises

The Ministry of Finance announced on December 24 that it had coordinated with relevant ministries and agencies to issue certificates of eligibility for providing credit rating services to five enterprises as of December.

They are Saigon Phat Thinh Ratings Joint Stock Company, FiinRatings Joint Stock Company (formerly FiinGroup Joint Stock Company), Vietnam Investors Service and Credit Rating Agency Joint Stock Company, S&I Ratings Joint Stock Company; and Thien Minh Credit Rating Joint Stock Company.

Among them, Thien Minh is the new business authorised by the Ministry of Finance to offer credit rating services in 2024.

Enterprises not registered to provide credit rating services are prohibited from using the term "credit rating" or other similar terms in their names.
