EVN,Singaporean firm boost co-operation in power development
VOV.VN - Representatives of the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) and Sembcorp Utilities Pte Ltd of Singapore held online working sessions from March 1- 3 to discuss further co-operation in local power projects.
Both sides will partner together as they strive to improve the reliability and stability of electricity systems, develop a smart grid, and address some of the major challenges of power networks in the nation.
They will also co-operate in developing and optimising renewable energy projects, developing Dung Quat power centre, and promoting the greater exchange of experts.
During the course of meetings, participants proposed solutions to concretise their co-operation agreement signed in late 2021 which aims to contribute to ensuring the progress of smart grid development in the country.
Experts from Sembcorps highly value the EVN and its subsidiaries for their efforts in developing the smart grid, while they used the platform to share their experience in this field.
