VOV.VN - Around 160 domestic and foreign exhibitors will take part in the 10th International Environment and Energy Technology Exhibition (Entech Vietnam 2018) which is set to transpire in Ho Chi Minh City on May 9-11.

A representative from the event’s organizing board, Vu Ngoc Tinh told a press conference in HCM City on May 4 that the exhibition provides a good chance for domestic and foreign businesses to showcase advanced environment technologies and energy products as well as to research the demand for energy products and technologies in Vietnam and regional countries.

It will offer an opportunity for managers of energy and environment projects to comprehend the global technological trend and state-of-art technologies and products suitable for their projects. It will also help government agencies evaluate, select, build and adjust development orientations for the environment and energy industry in Vietnam in the following periods, said Mr Tinh.

Seventy percent of participants in Entech Vietnam 2018 have joined the event since its beginning 10 years ago. Most of the participating businesses hope that more international exhibition of this type will be held in the future to further connect partners, said Mr Tinh.

Themed "Green Technologies and Products: Action for the Future", Entech 2018 focuses on promoting trade exchange between technology and environment businesses and introducing energy saving and environment protection products .It is also expected that during this event, businesses, particularly those from the Republic of Korea and Vietnam to sign more memoranda of understanding and hold direct dialogues.
