Domestic retail petrol and oil prices rise in latest adjustment

VOV.VN - The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the latest fuel price adjustment, effective from 3:00 p.m. on October 2, with most oil and petrol products seeing increases.

Accordingly, RON95-III, the commonly used petrol locally, rose by VND40, now capped at VND20,200 per litre, while E5 RON 92 increased by VND10, to a maximum of VND19,620 per litre.

Oil prices also recorded notable increases. Diesel saw a VND380 hike to VND19,030 per litre, kerosene climbed by VND380 to VND19,000 per litre, and Mazut 180CST 3.5S went up by VND170 to VND15,370 per kilogramme.

Meanwhile, E10 biofuel edged up by VND90 to VND19,920 per litre.

Since the beginning of the year, domestic fuel prices have been adjusted 41 times, reflecting volatility in global markets. Among them, RON95-III and E5 RON 92 have seen 22 price increases and 19 decreases. E10 biofuel has been adjusted with four times up and three times down.
