Da Nang welcomes Japanese investors, says city leader
VOV.VN - Da Nang welcomes Japanese businesses to invest in the city and is committed to creating the best conditions for Japanese businessmen to live and work in the locality, says Nguyen Van Quang, secretary of the Da Nang municipal Party Committee.
Receiving Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Yamada Takio on July 13, Quang assured his guest that Da Nang supports the promotion of Japan’s cultural values in the city.
The Party official expressed his wish that Japan would invest in more cultural and culinary spaces in the city, enabling local people and tourists to enjoy and learn about Japanese cuisine.
The Japanese Ambassador thanked the city for hosting the Vietnam – Japan festival 2023, and revealed that the Japanese Business Association (JBA) in Da Nang would also organize a lighting show along with the Vietnam – Japan festival 2023.
He said he hopes that Da Nang will continue to support the Japanese side in organizing more activities and events, as well as in strengthening investment cooperation in the field of information technology.
The Vietnam – Japan festival 2023 is taking place in Da Nang from July 13 to 16 as part of activities to mark 50 years of diplomacy between the two countries.
The festival has 80 booths from domestic and foreign organizations, introducing the cultures and traditional dishes of the two countries, along with information about education, tourism and trade.
