Belarus named as honorary guest at Vietnam Expo 2018

VOV.VN - Belarus will be the honorary guest at the International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2018) planed at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) in HCM City between December 5 and 8.  

The Vietnam Expo has become a key economic forum after holding 15 successful events, drawing a large number of exhibitors from a variety of countries and territories. This year’s expo will lure 750 businesses from 16 countries and territories who wish to showcase their products and services to potential clients across 800 pavilions.

Alexander Ogorodnikov, the Belarus Deputy Minister of Industry, said Belarus considers Vietnam an important partner in the region and wishes to accelerate the speed of key collaboration projects.

Based on available potential, Belarus has choosen Vietnam Expo as a destination for businesses from both countries to expand investment across different fields. The country was also an honorary guest at the Vietnam Expo Hanoi 2016, he said.

Nearly 60 leading businesses from Belarus will introduce a selection of quality Belarusian products such as equipment used in agriculture and urban areas, chemicals, petrochemistry, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages.

A series of major Belarusian brands like Belaz, MAZ, MTZ, Belshina, BelFert, Belmed, Borimed, Bellakt, and Kommunarka will be present at the event.
