Bac Luan bridge connecting Vietnam with China opens to traffic
VOV.VN - The Bac Luan bridge II which connects Mong Cai city in the northern province of Quang Ninh with Dongxing in Guangxi, China, opened to traffic on March 19.
The Bac Luan bridge II goes across Ka Long river and is located3.2 km away from the Bac Luan bridge I. In total, the bridge is 619 metres in length and 27.7 metres in width. It has been built to withstand a magnitude 7.0 earthquake. |
In attendance at the opening ceremony were Nguyen Van Doc, Secretary of Quang Ninh province Party Committee, and representatives from China’s Guangxi province. |
