Ba Ria-Vung Tau promotes investment in RoK, Japan
VOV.VN - A delegation from Ba Ria-Vung Tau province is paying a working visit to Japan and the Republic of Korea (RoK) from October 17-26 to call for investments in wind energy, solar energy, petrochemistry, PVC plastics and logistics, said vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Long.
Meanwhile in Japan, they will work with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Mitshubisi Heavy Industry in Tokyo, and visit the medical waste treatment plant of Kyoei Company and a smart cities model of Osaka Gas Company in Osaka City.
The visits aim to call on the two countries’ businesses to pour investments into all fields in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, especially industries (wind, solar and renewable energy, petrochemical products, PVC plastics and metal materials), port logistics, seaports (Cai Mep Ha logistics centre, Phu My town, and a logistics centre in Cai Mep Ha Industrial Zone) and tourism, said Mr Long.
It will provide a good chance to boost exchange and cooperative and friendly ties between Vietnam, particularly Ba Ria-Vung Tau province and Japan and the RoK, Mr Long added.
