At a press briefing announcing the event, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong said the ministry would organise the “Vietnam Cultural Excellence” zone to boost trade, connect supply and demand, stimulate domestic consumption and support businesses in expanding export markets and developing cultural industry brands, products and services.

He stressed that visitors come not only to shop but also to enjoy and experience Vietnam’s cultural richness.

According to Phong, developing cultural and entertainment industries is a global trend, with Vietnam holding strong potential as these sectors currently contribute more than 4% to GDP and are targeted to exceed 7% by 2025. Integrating cultural industries into the fair is expected to enhance its appeal, transforming it into both a trade and cultural experience platform.

The “Vietnam Cultural Excellence” zone is designed as a highlight of the fair, bringing together creative industries and strengthening the link between culture and the creative economy.

Seven themed booths will represent key creative sectors: software and gaming, publishing, cinema, performing arts, sports, fine arts–fashion–handicrafts, and tourism.

With professionally curated and engaging programmes, Autumn Fair 2025 is expected to go beyond conventional trade promotion, evolving into a vibrant cultural and creative playground that connects communities, boosts domestic consumption and elevates Vietnam’s brand on the global stage.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son has demanded that those displayed at the Autumn Fair 2025, scheduled to open in Hanoi on October 26 and run through November 4, must be outstanding products meeting rigorous quality controls.
