Autumn Fair 2025 - A national mega-event bridging production and commerce

VOV.VN - The Ministry of Industry and Trade held a press conference at Vietnam Exposition Center in Dong Anh commune, Hanoi on October 14 to announce the 2025 Autumn Fair themed "Connecting People with Production and Business".

This national-scale event is expected to boost consumption, production, imports and exports, and create momentum for economic growth.

Following the success of the National Achievements Exhibition themed "80 Year-Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", the Autumn Fair 2025 is not only the largest trade promotion event of the year but also a comprehensive boost for both domestic and international markets.

Through a series of exhibitions, B2B (Business-to-Business) matching activities, thematic seminars, and consumer incentive programmes, the fair aims to promote domestic production, foster innovation, and strengthen linkages between businesses and localities, domestic and international markets.

This also marks the beginning of a chain of annual four-season trade fairs, contributing to building Vietnam into a regional and global commercial and cultural destination. With a series of unprecedented highlights in terms of scale, quality, space, and promotional programmes, the fair is expected to contribute to achieving the economic growth target of over 8% in 2025 and becoming the foundation for a chain of international-scale four-season trade fairs in Vietnam.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan emphasised that the theme "Connecting People with Production and Business" reflects a humanistic mindset and a long-term development vision, placing people at the center and driving force of the economy. Activities at the fair such as exhibitions, seminars, and supply-demand connections, all aim to connect consumers with businesses, localities with markets, and domestic with international markets, thereby facilitating trade flows and promoting sustainable development.

To successfully organise an event of national significance, inter-sectoral coordination plays a crucial role. The Ministry of Industry and Trade has made the overall plan, coordinating with ministries, sectors, and localities in assigning tasks, implementing, and monitoring progress.

In particular, this fair is a close collaboration between the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Hanoi People's Committee, demonstrating the integration of economy, culture, and tourism, contributing to promoting the role of the capital city as a political, economic, and cultural centre.

The "6-Best" super fair

The Autumn Fair 2025 is hailed as the "Six-best super fair" thanks to a series of outstanding features unprecedented in previous fairs. Firstly, it boasts the largest scale, with an exhibition area of over 130,000 m² at the Vietnam Exposition Centre (VEC), bringing together approximately 3,000 standard booths from nearly 2,500 businesses from all regions, including state-owned corporations, large private enterprises, cooperatives, and innovative startups.

Another highlight is the most modern space, where the entire design, lighting, sound, and display technology at VEC – one of the leading exhibition centers in Southeast Asia – utilises advanced technology, providing visitors with a vivid, multi-sensory interactive experience.

Furthermore, the fair impressed with its widest range of products, featuring tens of thousands of items across key sectors such as industry, agriculture, trade, services, digital technology, logistics, and tourism. Each booth features the diversity, creativity, and unique identity of Vietnamese products. Simultaneously, the highest quality was a key highlight, as all exhibited products met high technical standards, had export certifications, or were part of prestigious programmes such as "Vietnam National Brand" and "High-Quality Vietnamese Goods," further affirming the competitiveness of Vietnamese businesses in the international market.

In particular, the Autumn Fair 2025 will feature a series of attractive activities, with over 30 themed events taking place continuously, such as business networking conferences (B2B, B2C), trade promotion forums, seminars on innovation, business talk shows, and cultural and artistic programmes, fashion shows, sports events, and culinary demonstrations. A highlight of the series is the "Youthful Memories" art programme celebrating 30 years of singing by singer Dan Truong which is a vibrant autumn-themed event connecting emotions and the community. Finally, the fair offers the best deals for consumers with a range of attractive promotions, discounts up to 100%, millions of e-vouchers, and consumer stimulus activities such as "Golden Season Deals," directly connecting businesses and customers, contributing to spreading the spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods."
