ASEAN Online Sale Day 2022 slated for next month
VOV.VN - The ASEAN Online Sale Day 2022 is scheduled to get underway from August 8 to August 10 in order to mark ASEAN’s 55th founding anniversary.
This year's programme is set to be co-chaired by Cambodia in their role as Chair of ASEAN in 2022, along with Singapore and Vietnam.
The event will comprise of two tiers for domestic and cross-border transactions.
For domestic transaction, reputable e-commerce businesses and platforms from 10 ASEAN member states will launch a series of special discount shopping programmes for consumers in that country.
Furthermore, in term of cross-border transactions, enterprises and platforms will co-ordinate to implement a cross-border online shopping programme among countries from the regional bloc.
Consumers, firms, and organisations in Vietnam, as well as ASEAN member states , will be able to access the online shopping day programme through the official website at www.onlineasean.com.
The special day initially began in 2020 and has since drawn plenty of attention from consumers and businesses from many countries.
In the 2021 version, the Philippines had the largest number of shoppers joining ASEAN Online Sale Day, accounting for 50.17% of the total, followed by consumers in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Singapore.
