AmCham Vietnam elects new leader

VOV.VN - Greg Testerman, CEO of Testerman Advisory LLC, a boutique consulting firm offering customized advisory services in sustainable finance, has been elected new chair of the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham Vietnam).

Greg took the helm from his predecessor Winnie Wong, Mastercard’s Country Manager for Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

Greg’s thirty-year career in international Corporate & Investment Banking spans four continents and all of the world’s major banking centers and capital markets.

Throughout his banking career, Greg has specialized in building new businesses, and turning around challenged ones. He speaks English, Spanish, and French, and has served on several boards of directors internationally, including at JP Morgan and Banco Santander.

Greg is Chairman of the ESG & Sustainability Committee at the US Chamber of Commerce of Vietnam. He also serves on the Capital Markets and Financial Services Committee, and the Banking Subcommittee.

AmCham will strengthen its close cooperation with the American business community in Vietnam, and together with the US and Vietnamese governments to further increase the trade ties between the two countries, said the new leader of AmCham Vietnam.

AmCham represents more than 650 corporate and 2500 individual business representatives throughout Vietnam, accounting for billions of dollars in foreign investment, tens of thousands of direct employees, hundreds of thousands of indirect employees, and a significant share of Vietnam’s exports and tax revenues.

Its mission is to promote trade and investment between Vietnam and the United States and to serve as the “voice of American business in Vietnam.”
