400 businesses seek trade opportunities at Vietnam Medipharm Expo 2023
VOV.VN - The 2023 International Medical and Pharmaceutical Exhibition (Medi-pharm Expo 2023) officially opened on August 3 in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 400 businesses from 22 countries and territories around the world.
On display across 450 booths at the three-day expo were advanced equipment and technologies in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors by foreign exhibitors from India, the UK, Poland, Belgium, Taiwan (China), the Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Russia, Japan, Malaysia, the United States, Pakistan, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Switzerland, Turkey, China, Australia, Italy, and Vietnam.
Upon addressing the opening event, Pham Dang Khanh, deputy general director of Vinexad emphasised that the occasion is expected to contribute to strengthening trade promotion, developing the medical and pharmaceutical market in the nation towards realising the goal of turning the country into the first destination and choice for investors.
The function is therefore expected to help effectively implement a strategy of caring for and improving the overall quality of life for people's health.
A number of seminars and trade exchange will be held during the course of the event to update information on medical devices and pharmaceutical management policies, as well as further opportunities to develop Indonesia-Vietnam trade in the medical field, Russia’s medical achievements, and the Vietnam-India pharmaceutical business forum.
