2023 Vietnam economic scenarios forum slated for Jan. 11

VOV.VN - Scenarios for the Vietnamese economy will be examined at a forum to be jointly held in Hanoi on January 11 by Vietnam Economic Times and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The forum will provide up-to-date information and make an in-depth analysis of the domestic and global economic context, post-pandemic emerging trends and growth drivers for Vietnam in 2023 and beyond, to help enterprises draw up appropriate investment and business strategies.

The gathering is expected to give the most valuable information to the business community, and at the same time to create an important basis for ensuring the appropriateness, feasibility and effectiveness of national socio-economic development policies and action plans at present and in the future.

The event will bring together delegates from various ministries and State agencies, including the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, the Economic Committee of the National Assembly, and a number of ministries in charge of foreign affairs, planning and investment, finance, agriculture and rural development, industry and trade, labour, construction, the State Bank, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and business associations.

Keynote speakers will come from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), the State Bank of Vietnam, the Ministry of Finance, and other financial institutions and State agencies.
