150 businesses join Vietnam Water Week 2024
VOV.VN - As many as 150 enterprises from 15 countries and territories worldwide showcased their products and equipment in the water industry across 200 pavilions at the Vietnam Water Week 2024 which opened on November 6 in Hanoi.
As part of his opening speech at the event, Deputy Minister of Construction Pham Minh Ha said that over recent years, Vietnam's water supply, drainage, and wastewater treatment services have been significantly improved, therefore creating favourable conditions for the implementation of the country's socio-economic development goals.
He underlined the importance of the function, its related seminars, and its international exhibitions; as well as the active participation of investors, sponsors, and enterprises to further develop the country’s water industry in the time ahead.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Ngoc Diep, chairman of the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association, expressed his hope that the Vietnam Water Week will continue to be an international and regional forum for state management agencies, research institutes, and businesses in Vietnam and globally in which to share experiences, introduce and transfer advanced and smart technologies.
