12 Vietnamese firms explore new technologies at German fair
VOV.VN - The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) organized a business delegation to participate in Hannover Messe, the world leading industrial, technology, and IT fair get underway in Niedersachsen, Germany from March 31 to April 4.

Hannover Messe is one of the largest IT exhibitions globally, attracting over 4,000 exhibitors from 150 economies. It provides plenty of opportunities for Vietnam to access new markets and expand business cooperation with partners in Europe and worldwide. Hannover Messe 2025 prominently features technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, mechanical engineering, drive technology, and fluid energy production.
This marks the sixth time VINASA has organized a business delegation to this event, aiming to enhance cooperation and visibility for Vietnamese IT businesses in key markets, including Germany. This year’s Vietnam booth includes 12 companies, including FPT, TMT, Luvina, GMO-Z.com, Meey Group, VEDAX, SphinX, Bac Ha, Deha, Fabbi, DBIZ, and Vconnex.
In addition to offering IT outsourcing (ITO) and digital transformation services, the participating Vietnamese firms also introduced solutions in areas such as AI, manufacturing, green transformation, and particularly semiconductors, fields gaining global attention.
During the first two days, VINASA engaged with representatives from the German Asia-Pacific Business Association (OEV), the German Electrical and Digital Industry Association (ZVEI), and connected with the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the German Small and Medium Enterprises Association, and the Berlin Brandenburg Mechanical Engineering Association, among others. The delegation also participated in several networking activities and meetings with other exhibitors, thus paving the way for future collaboration opportunities.
Hannover Messe 2025 takes place in the context of political instability, an economic downturn in Germany, and challenges posed by former US President Donald Trump’s “America First” trade policy, which threatens global trade rules.
Nonetheless, these circumstances have only increased the fair's importance. Jochen Köckler, CEO of Deutsche Messe AG, the fair’s organizer, stated, “We aim to provide a platform where politicians and businesses can exchange ideas to discuss the framework conditions necessary for success, with a primary focus on fostering investment trust and spreading optimism.”
With industries ranging from manufacturing, automation, software development services, new technologies, cloud computing, data, artificial intelligence of things (AIoT), digital energy, clean energy, digital platforms, logistics, mobile infrastructure, charging stations, and embedded systems to consulting and management, Hannover Messe is not only a hub for visitors but also offers great opportunities for global businesses to connect and expand cooperation in the technology sector.
