100 exhibitors join Agri Vietnam 2024 in HCM City
VOV.VN - The fourth International Exhibition on Machinery, Equipment, Supplies, Chemicals, and Agricultural Products in Vietnam (Agri Vietnam 2024) officially kicked off on June 12 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.
This year has seen the event draw the participation of more than 100 exhibitors from 14 countries and territories worldwide.
According to information given by the organizing board, Agri Vietnam 2024 is a reliable meeting point for producers, suppliers, distributors, and other industry organizations who are seeking business opportunities, looking to expand their markets, and in helping both Vietnamese and regional enterprises access advanced global production technologies.
Upon addressing the opening ceremony, Nguyen Nhu Cuong, director of the Crop Production Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, highlighted Vietnam as one of the world's leading exporters of agricultural products.
He noted that the exhibition will serve to bring the latest innovations and new solutions from the global agricultural industry to local producers and businesses, thereby further contributing to the growth of the Vietnamese agricultural sector.
A number of specialised seminars and B2B networking programmes will also be planned within the framework of the expo.
Furthermore, Coatings – Paper – Rubber & Tyre – Plastech Vietnam 2024 Expo also kicked off on the same day, drawing the participation of more than 350 local and foreign enterprises.
