Members of the 12th Party Central Committee discussed the socio-economic situation, State budget of 2017 and tasks for 2018 during the second working day of their 6th meeting on October 5.

The Government has issued two action plans to carry out the 12th Party Central Committee’s Resolution 10 on developing the private economic sector and Resolution 11 on perfecting the socialist-oriented market institutions.

The Party, the Government and political apparatus as a whole is committed and determined to fight corruption, said Minister - Chairman of the Government’s Office Mai Tien Dung.

The 12th Party Central Committee opened its sixth plenary session in Hanoi on October 4.

Credit should be given to priority areas, especially high-tech agriculture, export, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and start-ups. 

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc was worried about the slow disbursement of public investment capital while chairing the government’s regular meeting in Hanoi on October 3, noting that only 55 percent of the year’s investment plan has been disbursed so far.
