Vietnam Association of Historical Sciences’ Congress opens in Hanoi
(VOV) -President Truong Tan Sang has asked Vietnam’s Association of Historical Sciences to do its utmost to contribute to the compilation of the Vietnam History Collection at the request of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat.
At the Association’s 7th Congress that opened in Hanoi on November 30 , President Sang hailed the contribution of historians to Vietnam’s Doi Moi (renewal) process.
He called on the Association to prepare a master plan to help Vietnam’s historical sciences sector integrate into the world and make full use of the support of foreign historians for Vietnam’s national construction and defense in the new period.
