VFF greatly contributes to Vietnam achievements

President of the VFF Central Committee Huynh Dam emphasised this at a ceremony to mark the 82^nd anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18), the precursor to the present-day VFF.

To uphold the glorious tradition of the Front, Dam said, the VFF will stay true to the Ho Chi Minh Thought and materialise Party guidelines and State policies to reinforce the great national unity bloc.

He noted that despite the local and global economic slowndown, the VFF has made every effort to unite the people and encourage them to overcome difficulties and increase productivity, helping to stabilise the macroeconomy, contain inflation, improve social welfare, and ensuring national security and defence.

President Dam implored VFF members at all levels and Vietnamese people from all walks of life, including those residing overseas, to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example to accelerate the ongoing Renewal process and national construction, while also maintaining national defence and security.
