State funeral for former PM Phan Van Khai

VOV.VN - Tribute-paying ceremonies of former Prime Minister Phan Van Khai took place on March 20 at Thong Nhat Hall in Ho Chi Minh City and the International Convention Centre in Hanoi at the same time.


Representatives of the former PM’s paternal and maternal families take a minute’s silence in memory of the former PM.

Delegations pay tribute to former Prime Minister Phan Van Khai in Ho Chi Minh City. Among them  are the delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee headed by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong,


The State delegation led by President Tran Dai Quang,

The delegation of the Vietnamese Government headed by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc,


The delegation of the National Assembly of Vietnam led by its Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan,


The delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee led by its President Tran Thanh Man.



Delegations line up to pay tribute to the former Prime Minister in Hanoi.

The delegation of representatives of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Vietnam.

The Party, State, Government, NA, VFF delegations have been at Thong Nhat Hall in Ho Chi Minh City earlier to prepare for the ceremony.
