President calls for better social security
(VOV) - President Truong Tan Sang on February 5 paid Tet visits to the social security and drugs crime investigation departments under the Ministry of Public Security.
He stressed the importance of the social security force when many major domestic and international events will be held this year.
He urged the force to join hands with other authorities to thwart all sabotage schemes by the enemy and perfect the legal documents relating to the State management of religious and racial work.
As the economy is growing and the integration intensifying, drug-related crime will be more complicated, the President said, adding that besides safeguarding the national sovereignty, the drugs crime investigation department must ensure social security and a peaceful life for the people.
