PM Dung pays tribute to President HCM

(VOV) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung offered incense at President Ho Chi Minh’s old house as part of a January 25 tribute to the late leader.

The ceremony, unfolding in the part of Hanoi’s Presidential Palace complex where Ho Chi Minh worked and passed away, is one of many activities leading up to the Lunar New Year  Festival (Tet) and the 84th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).

PM Dung reflected on the leader’s unparalled contributions to Vietnam’s national liberation and reunification successes.

He lauded the efforts of the historical site’s curators to preserve artifacts related to the late leader.

Their work introduces President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career to both domestic and international visitors.

PM Dung urged the site’s staff to continue their crucial conservation for future generations.

The President Ho Chi Minh relic site and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum welcome approximately 2.5 million visitors every year.
