PM Dung inaugurates monument honoring military medical workers

(VOV) -Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung May 1 attended the inauguration of a monument in honor of military medical workers in Ba Hon Relic site in Hon Dat district, Kien Giang province. 

This is the place where Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung worked during the war for more than 15 years.

Addressing the event, Prime Minister Dung said the Party and State highly acknowledge military medical workers in Kien Giang for their contribution to caring for war invalids, soldiers and civilians. With the help of modern technology and equipment, medical workers also need to improve their professionalism to better care for people’s health,

Covering more than 1000 square meters, the monument costs more than VND3 billion in the first phase of construction.

In the second phase, starting from now to 2020, more investment will be poured to build fences, restore the exhibition house and offer physical therapy services to veterans. 

The monument commemorates the medical soldiers who made significant contributions to the national liberation cause and the resounding 1975 spring victory.
