Party, State leaders pay tribute to President HCM
(VOV) - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong offered incense in tribute to the late President Ho Chi Minh at House No. 67 in Hanoi. The January 28 ceremony is part of the run-up to the Lunar New Year (Tet) Festival.
The Party leader described the site as a tourist destination and a place of pilgrimage for people eager to honour President Ho Chi Minh.
He noted with pleasure the site’s increasing visitor numbers and urged officials and staff to study, appreciate, and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.
President Truong Tan Sang visited the site on January 27, offering incense commemorating the late President.
Bidding New Year wishes to site officials and staff, the State leader asked them to dedicate themselves to protecting and preserving the house’s valuable artifacts for future generations.
Numerous units and government authorities in the central province of Nghe An and other localities have paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his homeland in Nam Dan district’s Kim Lien commune.
