Party leader works with High Command of Military Zone 4

During a working session with the Military Zone 4 in the central province of Nghe An on October 29, the Party leader urged it to increase political firmness and professionalism, pay greater attention to mass mobilization and external relations as a contribution to reinforcing special solidarity with Laos. 

The Military Zone 4 is located in a strategic position, covering six central provinces, thus requiring the staff to uphold patriotism tradition and build a strong and transparent unit loyal to the Party, the nation and people, he stressed.

Member of the Party Central Committee and Commander of the Military Zone 4 Lieut. Gen Nguyen Tan Cuong told Mr Trong that his unit and staff have strictly comply with resolutions and directives by the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Central Military Commission and Defence Ministry.

The unit came up with measures to combat political and ideological degradation, “self-evolution” and “self-transformation” phenomena, adding that the staff also actively responded to the campaign “Studying and following moral example of Ho Chi Minh”.  

The same day, the Party Chief burnt incense and paid floral tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at Kim Lien relic site, visited King Mai Hac De temple in Nam Dan district and Emperor Quang Trung temple atop Dung Quyet mountain.
