NA Standing Committee’s seventh session to open next week
VOV.VN - The 14th National Assembly’s Standing Committee will hold its seventh session in Hanoi February 19-20.
Full-time legislators will discuss the issuance of a government decree regulating specialized mechanisms and policies for Ho Chi Minh City and a draft resolution on regulations and conditions ensuring lawmakers’ performances.
Also high on the agenda will be preferential treatment in regards of state budget allocation for the National Target Program on New Rural Development until 2020 for Mekong Delta communes, the list of Vietnam’s national projects, and the specific capital distribution for each project in the national medium-term public investment plan for until 2020.
The committee will also debate pending issues relating to draft amendments to the Penal Code and the draft Law on Irrigation.
