Ministers respond to NA question time
(VOV) - The Minister of Industry and Trade and the Minister of Public Health will be grilled over burning issues of public concern at an April 1 question time of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee.
Questions for Industry and Trade Minister Vu Huy Hoang will be focused on State management responsibility for electricity, petrol and oil, the use of the petrol and oil price stabilization fund and the implementation of “Vietnamese use Vietnamese goods” program.
Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien will answer deputies’ questions about solutions to deal with the degradation of medical ethics, operations of the healthcare system at district and commune levels, the overload of centrally-run hospitals, drug prices and food hygiene and safety.
During the one-day session, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Minister of Natural Resource and Environment, the Minister of Planning and Investment, the Minister of Home Affairs and the General Director of the Vietnam Social Insurance will be required to clarify a number of issues related to their sectors.
The question time will be broadcast live on the national radio and television systems (VOV and VTV).
