Legislature to vote on key post holders
(VOV) - The National Assembly will hold votes of confidence for 49 key post-holders in its upcoming fifth session due to begin in Hanoi on May 20.
The results of voting will be made public on June 11, said NA Office Chairman Nguyen Hanh Phuc at the current session of the NA Standing Committee in Hanoi on May 15.
Phuc said the NA will spend the whole of May 24 discussing key personnel of the government. Notably, the legislature will elect the new Minister of Finance and the new Auditor General after the two had been assigned to new posts.
He also announced that 11 key debates on the government’s report, the hearing, and settlement of voter queries will be broadcast live on the national radio and television broadcasting systems.
