Khanh Hoa urged to utilize its full potential

According to a report from key provincial leaders, the locality’s socio-economic situation in the first quarter is seeing improvements with GDP rising to 6.6% in the three sectors- construction-industry, service and agro-fishery-forestry industry.

Khanh Hoa has worked out 14 key tasks for socio-economic development aiming to ease business difficulties and boost production.
In his speech, PM Dung applauded the provincial Party Committee, administration and people’s efforts to overcome every difficulty so as to fully exploit potential for pushing up socio-economic development in combination with ensuring social welfare and reinforcing defence and security, protecting the country’s sea and island sovereignty.
He suggested provincial leaders focus on improving its competitive capacity, further boosting exports, tourism and administrative reform, effectively preventing bird flu epidemic, attracting more investment and narrowing the rich-poor development gap between rural and urban areas with a view to developing Khanh Hoa into a modern industrial province in the future.
