Vietnam, US mark 20 years of diplomatic ties
(VOV) - An international conference celebrating two decades of US-Vietnam relations will be held January 14 at the Reverie Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, according to an official announcement.
High profile officials that will be in attendance include Ha Kim Ngoc-Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tran Quoc Khanh-Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, and Ted Osius-US Ambassador to Vietnam among others.
A large gathering of prominent business leaders, members of academia and the news media are also expected to be in attendance at the event sponsored by the US Centre for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) and the Vietnam Center for Strategic and International Development (CSSD).
