Vietnam, Cuba boost defence collaboration
A delegation from the Ministry of National Defence led by Deputy Minister Be Xuan Truong paid an official visit to Cuba from December 12-18.
During their stay, the Vietnamese delegation had a working session with Minister of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces Leopoldo Cintra during which the two sides agreed to strengthen and consolidate the cooperation between the two armies.
They also reviewed the implementation of signed agreements and discussed measures to foster bilateral ties.
Both sides consented to focus on collaboration in scientific research and military technique serving the respective countries’ national construction and defence.
