President Quang receives WB official
VOV.VN - President Tran Dai Quang received World Bank Vice President for the East Asia and Pacific Region Victoria Kwakwa in Hanoi on May 19.

Quang congratulated Victoria Kwakwa on her new post as WB Vice President for the East Asia and Pacific Region and expressed his belief that she will provide more assistance for regional countries, including Vietnam .
He also pledged to use funding for sustainable development effectively.
For her part, Kwakwa said she believes cooperation between Vietnam and the World Bank will continue to prosper and will be a successful model for other countries.
She told Quang that the bank will soon submit a number of projects on education reform, land management and policy reform in combination with climate change response.
She asked President Quang instruct ministries and agencies conerned to build a cooperation strategy with the bank and effectively carry out such projects.
The WB also wants to assist Vietnam in actualising recommendations set forth in the “ Vietnam 2035 Report” released earlier this year by the bank and the Vietnamese Government, she added.
