PM pledges favorable conditions for US investors

The Vietnamese Government always creates favourable conditions for foreign investors, including those from the US, said Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at a reception for President of the US’s Harbinger Capital Partners LLC Philip Falcone in Hanoi on September 25.

Vietnam will continue to build an equal and favourable business environment, he affirmed.

The Government leader spoke highly of the fund’s investment in Vietnam, saying that it encourages other US companies to pour cash into the country.

 He also praised efforts made by Philip Falcone and his co-workers in successfully organizing an investment forum in New York, which he said helped US businesses understanding more about Vietnam’s policies and investment opportunities in the country. 

For his part, Philip Falcone hoped that the Vietnamese government would continue to provide optimal conditions for the fund’s investment projects.

He said he believes in Vietnam’s investment climate and wishes to expand his fund’s operation in the nation.
