NA Vice Chairman hosts Lao Justice Minister
VOV.VN - National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu gave a reception to visiting Lao Justice Minister Xaysi Santivong in Hanoi on December 11, during which he hailed the visit by the Lao delegation as a contribution to boosting the cooperation between the two justice ministries.

He also hailed the outcomes of talks between the Lao delegation and its Vietnamese counterpart, while expressing his confidence that the two ministries will continue stepping up collaboration in an effective way in the time ahead.
The NA Vice Chairman proposed two ministries continue providing mutual support for building legal documents, personnel training, law popularization and education, and sharing experience in mutual legal aid.
The Lao Justice Minister thanked the Justice Ministry of Vietnam for helping the Laos’ Justice Ministry, especially by dispatching officials to Laos to assist in drafting a number of bills.
The Lao minister affirmed that his ministry will work hand in hand with the Justice Ministry of Vietnam in carrying out cooperation agreements, noting that the two ministries have fulfilled targets in their cooperation agreement for 2018 with Vietnam having helped Laos with an ODA project in justice, the first Vietnam has offered Laos.
