Deputy PM visits three African countries
(VOV) - Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai is leading a high-ranking government delegation on visits to three African countries – Mozambique, South Africa and Angola from July 29 to August 8.
The Deputy PM’s visits show that Vietnam attaches much importance to developing traditional friendship ties and multifaceted cooperation with the three countries.
He will discuss with leaders of Mozambique, South Africa and Angola measures to boost cooperation in the fields of trade, industry, telecommunications, oil and gas, construction, defence, labour, health care, education and tourism as well as cooperation between localities. The Vietnamese and African leaders will also compare notes on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
On the occasion, Hai will attend activities to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Mozambique and Vietnam and Angola, and witness the signing of some cooperative documents to be the legal framework for bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and the three African countries in the coming period.
