Congratulations to re-elected leader of Communist Party of Sri Lanka
General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong has sent congratulations to D.E.W. Gunasekara on his re-election as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka.
The Communist Party of Sri Lanka held the 21st national congress in Colombo from September 29 to October 1.
Gunasekara, born in 1935, is also a member of the United People’s Freedom Alliance in Sri Lanka. He is a former Member of Parliament and former cabinet minister.
