Argentina, Vietnam share legislative experience

(VOV) - National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairman Huynh Ngoc Son received an Argentinean delegation on September 1 led by the visiting Head of Human Rights Commission, Remo Carlotto.

The Vietnamese people always bear in mind and treasure valuable assistance Argentina gave Vietnam during the past struggles for national independence and freedom and the current national construction process.

Son noted with satisfaction the growing ties while suggesting both nations should expand multifaceted cooperation and develop economic and trade relations on a par with close-friendship relations.

It is imperative to strengthen exchange visits and share experience in parliamentary operations like legislation, supervision and making decisions on major national issues as well as providing mutual support at regional and international forums, the NA official said.

Carlotto in turn briefed the host on the results of the talks with the NA Committee for External Relations, saying his nation is keen to tighten ties with Vietnam and boost all-round cooperation in line with sound relations between the two countries.
