VOV.VN - A dossier showcasing the Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son, Kiep Bac relic and landscape complex in the northern provinces of Quang Ninh, Hai Duong, and Bac Giang has been sent to UNESCO for inclusion on the list of world heritage sites, following Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha’s approval.

The Deputy PM assigned the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO to take the leading role in the process and to co-operate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and other relevant agencies to carry out necessary procedures and send the nomination to UNESCO before September 30.

The official dossier will also be submitted to the Paris-headquartered organisation by December 31 this year.

A large number of relics and landscapes in the Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son Kiep Bac complex have been recognised as provincial or national heritage sites which boast a combination of natural landscapes and architectural structures.
