She was one of five contestants from the Asia-Pacific region to make the Top 20 list of the sub-contest alongside representatives from the Philippines, Thailand, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka. 

The Multimedia Challenge scores are based on audience engagement through the official Miss World app, and the winner of this segment will automatically advance to the Top 40 overall finalists.

This achievement adds to Y Nhi’s impressive performance in the competition so far. She previously made it into the Top 48 in the Talent competition and was named among the Top 8 in the Beauty With A Purpose segment.

The 23-year-old beauty queen, who hails from Binh Dinh province, was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023. She is currently competing against over 100 contestants from around the globe at the 72nd Miss World pageant.

The grand finale is scheduled for May 31 in India. During the final night, the judging panel will select the Top 40 finalists, broken down by continental regions, and from there announce the Top 20, Top 8, and ultimately the Top 4.

One contestant from each continental group will compete for the Miss World crown, along with three runner-up titles.
