Winners of Vietnam photo contest announced
VOV.VN - The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has unveiled awards for outstanding works of the third “Vietnam Through the Lens of International Photographers” exhibition.

Under a decision dated July 9, a total of 20 prizes will be awarded to both Vietnamese and international photographers.
Among the winners, Gunaratne Madugodaralalage Thejapriya Bandu of Sri Lanka will be awarded a prize for a piece featuring people releasing lanterns at sunset in Vietnam.
Depicting the charm of Phu Quoc, a photo taken by Le Tuan Anh of Vietnam, will also be given a prize.
In addition, works about Tam Coc in the water lily season and Huong (Perfume) river in Hue by domestic and foreign photographers will receive prizes.
The exhibition is a flagship event of the National Tourism Year – Hue 2025, aiming to promote the image of Vietnam, particularly the city of Hue, to the international community through photography.
Themed “Vietnam Through the Lens of International Photographers & Hue – Ancient Capital, New Opportunity,” the exhibition welcomed both domestic and international photographers. Works focused on the beauty of Vietnamese people, culture, history, architecture, and landscapes, particularly those taken within the last two years.
A total of 200 selected photos were chosen for display, with 20 of these receiving official prizes.
Beyond showcasing Vietnam’s charm, the exhibition serves as a platform for artistic exchange, encouraging creative dialogue and enriching Vietnam’s cultural and tourism promotional efforts.
