Winners of Denmark In Your Eyes 2024 painting contest announced
VOV.VN - A total of 74 prizes have been presented to individuals and collectives who won the Denmark In Your Eyes 2024 painting contest launched last year to celebrate 53 years of diplomacy between Vietnam and Denmark (1971-2024).

At the award ceremony in Hanoi on April 2, Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Nicolai Prytz said that the competition provided a chance for local schoolchildren to share their creative ideas about protecting the green planet, and shows Vietnam’s strong commitment to building a green and sustainable future for all.
Themed “Green initiatives”, the competition was open to all Vietnamese primary and secondary school children who were encouraged to unleash and develop their imagination through creativity whilst bringing their environmental protection initiatives onto papers.
Nguyen Hoang Thinh, a sixth-grader from Hanoi Victoria Secondary School in Hanoi, won the special prize for a piece of work made from scraps of fabric, conveying a message of joining hands to protect the environment.
Of the remaining 73 prizes, there are two first, four second, eight third, and 50 consolation prizes given to primary and secondary students nationwide.
The Denmark In Your Eyes 2024 painting contest, co-hosted by the Embassy of Denmark and the Vietnam-Denmark Friendship Association, has received strong support from the Ministry of Education and Training, Kim Dong Publishing House, and Thieu Nien Tien Phong newspaper.
After the first edition in 2016 to mark 45 years of bilateral diplomacy, the contest has been organised annually with a new theme, focusing on environmental issues.
