“We Are Together” cultural festival to mark Vietnam–RoK diplomacy
VOV.VN - The seventh Vietnam–Republic of Korea (RoK) cultural exchange festival, themed “We Are Together”, will take place in Suwon, RoK, from May 3 to 4, bringing together a host of artists and members of the Vietnamese community in the East Asian nation.
Organised by DB Insurance Co. Ltd, the event aims to mark the 33rd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the RoK, while also celebrating the 50th anniversary of southern liberation and national reunification in Vietnam, the organisers announced at a press conference in Hanoi on April 23.
The festival will feature performances by Korean artists Lee Se-jin and Bae Ji-young, alongside Vietnamese singers including Trong Hieu and Ai Phuong, offering a musical experience for fans of both cultures.
Coinciding with Children’s Day in the RoK, the festival will also host bubble magic shows and interactive bubble art performances designed especially for young attendees.
First held in 2017 to mark the 25th anniversary of Vietnam–RoK diplomatic ties, the festival has since become an annual platform for celebrating friendship and cultural connection. This year’s event will be open to the public free of charge.
