Water puppetry debuts at HCM City spring flower festival
VOV.VN - Water puppetry artists will bring special performances to the 45th spring flower festival which will be held at Tao Dan Park in Ho Chi Minh City to welcome in the Lunar New Year, known local as Tet, for the first time.
The performances will take place on January 29, 30, and 31, corresponding to the first, second, and third days of the Lunar New Year.
The event is part of the annual Spring Flower Festival at Tao Dan Park, running from January 24 to February 2, or from the 25th day of the last lunar month to the 5th day of the first lunar month.
Local artisans from Ho Chi Minh City and nearby regions will showcase their products, including orchids, bonsai trees, and ornamental fish.
The festival will feature a series of unique displays, including collections of yellow apricot trees and orchids from collectors in the Mekong Delta region.
In addition to flower exhibitions and sales, the event will include music and dance performances, as well as lion, dragon, and kylin dances.
A photo exhibition highlighting the 44-year history of the Spring Flower Festival in the southern city will also be launched.
