VPF unveils new logo as ethics committee makes its debut
The Vietnamese Football Professional Joint Stock Company (VPF) has introduced its new brand identity in an event in HCM city.
“The introduction of the new brand identity demonstrate the company’s commitment to building a professional football environment” said Vo Quoc Thang, chairman of the VPF, on February 21.
The company has a new five-member ethics committee to deal with morally wrong behaviors, he added
Japanese expert Kazuyoshi Tanabe, who was present at the event, told local media that he believes Vietnamese football can reach the continental level within five years.
“Every country has its own problems in football, and so does Vietnam,” the expert said. “So I am here to work with my Vietnamese colleagues to figure out solutions for the problem that Vietnam is facing,”
Avispa Fukuoka, who is former general director of Yokohama and Ryukyu football clubs in Japan as well as Grenoble Foot 38 football club in France, said that his immediate job is create an exciting league for VPF to bring fans back to the stadiums.
