VND3.2 billion crown awaits Miss Ocean Vietnam 2017
The pearl crown which will be awarded to Miss Ocean Vietnam 2017 is worth VND3.2 billion (US$140,000), according to the organizing committee of the pageant.

Fashion designer Vo Viet Chung, head of the organizing committee, said the Miss Ocean Vietnam would be responsible for calling for young people and the community to protect marine life and the ecosystem.
Those passing the qualifying round of the contest set for April 1 to September 1 will enter the semi-final and final rounds in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province.
The coronation night will be broadcast live on VTV9 on October 27.
There will be three top prizes and some extra titles like Miss Ao dai, Miss Bikini, Miss Fashion and Miss Photogenic.
French director Henri Hubert, who has had 35 years’ experience in fashion industry, will be in charge of the coronation night at the Fisherman Show Theater.
Dang Thu Thao, 22, from the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho was the first Miss Ocean Vietnam in 2014.
