VN transgender beauty wins Best Talent at Miss International Queen 2022
VOV.VN - Vietnamese representative Phung Truong Tran Dai was awarded the Best Talent sub-title on June 20 at the Miss International Queen 2022 currently taking place in Thailand.
The transgender beauty told a significant story of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI+) community through a short play.
Through this unique performance, the Vietnamese contestant won judges’ heart and won the Talent Quest segment. Contestants from Thailand and Paraguay finished as first and second runners-up, respectively.
The Vietnamese girl earlier performed in the national costume segment, with her outfit drawing inspiration from Vietnamese rice, stork, crane, and the sun. Her special costume received plenty of praise from both local fans and international friends alike.
The global transgender pageant’s semi-final night and grand final are scheduled to take place on June 23 and June 25 in Pattaya, Thailand.
