VN contestant crowned Miss Culture World International 2022

VOV.VN - Thai Nha Van of Vietnam successfully beat off competition from 30 beauties from across the world to win the Miss Culture World International 2022 pageant which concluded in Ho Chi Minh City on April 11.

The Vietnamese contestant also won the best national costume award after donning a stunning outfit featuring a phoenix. The outfit was created with the meaning that fire will burn brightly, symbolising great economic development rising from the ashes in the post-COVID-19 period.

The Soc Trang native currently works as a photo model, a singer, and an actress in Vietnam. She first rose to prominence in 2016 when she was awarded the runner-up title at Miss Vietnam Global.

The Miss Culture World International pageant is copyrighted by the Philippines. This marks the first time that the Miss Culture International has been held in Vietnam.

This year’s pageant witnessed the participation of 30 beauties from across the world. They spent a total of three months competing in several sub-categories, including swimsuit, national costume, talent, and evening gown.

Elsewhere, the first and second runner-up titles went to the beauties from Malaysia and Indonesia, respectively.
