Vinschool spring festival sees more foreign students

VOV.VN - This year’s TET Lunar New Year, also called Spring Festival, at Vinschool has attracted more international students, some from as far away as New Zealand and Japan.

A contest composing parallel sentences was a highlight.

Deputy Head of Mission at the New Zealand Embassy Robbie Taylor said he was impressed by the students’ abilities at writing words in calligraphy

He also attempted to write pleasantries in calligraphy in both English and Vietnamese

Foreign teachers of Vinschool actively participated in the spring festival and said they were most impressed by the nation’s unique cultural characteristics

Japanese pavilions attracted lots of visitors. They introduced folk games and origami- the ancient art of Japanese paper folding

‘Street music’ of foreign teachers and students made the festival a bit more exciting and enjoyable

Vinschool students actively participated in activities including dancing, gong and traditional musical performances introducing the cultural uniqueness of Vinschool

Specialities of the three regions in Vietnam were also displayed at the festival by students and parents
