VIFW Fall/Winter 2025 marks 20 years, highlights unique fashion style
VOV.VN - The Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2025 will mark its 20th edition and take place November 11-15 at the Quan Ngua Sports Palace in Hanoi under the theme #PureStyleShines, which honours distinctive fashion styles.
At a press conference in Hanoi on October 29, Trang Le, Chairwoman of Vietnam International Fashion Week and President of the Council of ASEAN Fashion Designers, said the 20th edition underscores Vietnam’s growing position on the regional fashion map after two decades of development.
She said VIFW aims to steer the Vietnamese fashion industry toward sustainable growth, making the country both a regional fashion destination and an attractive creative hub in Southeast Asia.
This year’s program will feature 20 domestic and international fashion brands. Renowned designers scheduled to present collections include Frederick Lee (Singapore), Francis Libiran (the Philippines), Priyo Oktavino (Indonesia), Chula (Spain), Ajay Kumar (India), Natacha Van (Cambodia), Bandid Lasavong (Laos), Trip&Co (China), and Behati (Malaysia). Their shows will reflect diverse cultural stories from across the region.
For the first time in its 20th edition, VIFW will welcome two well-known local brands, Canifa and Pantio. Canifa will present collections for all ages, while Pantio will introduce refined designs for women.
The event will also showcase collections by leading Vietnamese designers and labels, with hundreds of local and international models expected to participate.
A series of fringe events will precede the fashion week, including a model casting call on October 30-31 and an exhibition and art interaction titled “Art of Purity” at Vincom Mega Mall Royal City in Hanoi from October 30 to November 2.
